Effective 7 October 2026
These terms apply to every individual or company that applies for, accesses or sells through a Curtfire vendor account.
You must provide complete and accurate identity, ownership, registration, tax, banking and collection-address information. Companies must provide registration evidence and an authorised director's ID or passport. Individuals must provide their ID or passport. Curtfire may verify, reject, suspend or request updated documents to manage legal, fraud and marketplace risk.
You warrant that you own or are authorised to sell every listed product; listings are accurate; stock is available; goods are genuine, lawful and safe; and you hold required licences and intellectual-property permissions. Prohibited, counterfeit, recalled or unsafe goods may not be listed.
You must honour accepted orders, maintain accurate stock, package goods safely, meet dispatch targets, provide a valid collection address, and cooperate with Curtfire and its delivery providers. You remain responsible for products until risk passes under applicable law.
You must comply with the Consumer Protection Act, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and Curtfire policies. You must promptly handle defects, warranties, returns, refunds, safety incidents and recalls, and reimburse Curtfire for vendor-responsible refunds and reasonable related costs.
Standard Curtfire commission is between 7% and 12% of the VAT-inclusive product selling price, based on product category. The current public schedule appears on our Commission rates page. A different negotiated rate may be recorded for your vendor account; where it differs, the rate confirmed in your vendor agreement or portal controls. Curtfire deducts commission, refunds, chargebacks and other agreed amounts before payout. Delivery charges are excluded from commission unless your agreement states otherwise. The portal balance is provisional until payment clears and the applicable return or risk review is complete.
Use customer information only for order fulfilment, support and legal duties. Do not market directly to Curtfire customers without lawful permission. Apply appropriate POPIA security, restrict access and promptly report any suspected compromise.
Do not manipulate reviews, divert marketplace transactions, impersonate another party, misuse brands or data, or provide misleading pricing. You grant Curtfire a non-exclusive licence to display your listing content for operating and promoting the marketplace.
Curtfire may suspend listings, hold payouts reasonably connected to risk, or terminate access for breach, fraud, repeated service failure, legal risk or threats to customers. Outstanding orders, returns, fees, confidentiality and data obligations survive termination.
Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. You are responsible for claims and direct losses arising from your products, listings, legal non-compliance, intellectual-property infringement or breach. Curtfire remains responsible for its own obligations under applicable law.
Submitting an application records your acceptance of these terms and the Privacy Policy. South African law applies. Questions may be sent to sellers@curtfire.co.za.
